Seeing this, the disciples were amazed and asked, "How did the fig tree wither all at once?" And Jesus answered and said to them, "Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it will happen. And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." Matt. 21:20-22
Lord we need more faith, more belief, more complete understanding of You and the Kingdom. Please help our hearts and minds to be drawn closer to You. Teach us to pray like we have not prayed before. Prayers of deeper faith and deeper belief. Give us vision that extends beyond our own feeble abilities. Help us to completely grasp that You are the source of all good things and that You are willing to give those things to all Your saints.

How many in our community could be saved? Where are they? They are in our businesses, schools, churches, neighborhoods. They are in our families. They are at the homeless shelter. They are driving down the road. They are on the golf course. They are in retirement centers. They are government workers and they are sitting at the bars. They are in jail. They are in the military. They are shopping in the same stores we do. Some of them are at the hospital, or home under hospice care. How can they believe unless someone tells them of a God who loves them and forgives them in Jesus name.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that He lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. Ephesians 1:7-8
Dear God, You are an amazing God. You do not give just a little bit to us here and there. Instead you lavish grace, wisdom, and understanding upon us. You give us redemption and forgiveness of sins. You are a generous and loving God. Let us stand in awe of Your goodness to us. Our hearts overflow in gratitude and adoration. Amen.

For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels. Mark 8:38
Dear Jesus, We want to follow You fully in all aspects of our lives. If we act ashamed of You or hesitant in our witness, reveal it to us. Let us freely share our faith in the opportunities You provide. Let us always stand up for You and not hold back. Help us to recognize Your divine appointments. May we be sensative to the leading of Your Holy Spirit and quick to obey. Amen.

2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Heavenly Father, You promise in Your Word that if we humble ourselves and admit our need for You, if we earnestly seek Your face more than we seek Your hand, if we turn from all habits and conditions of the heart that draw us away from You and pursue a lifestyle intent on pleasing You, then we will hear from heaven. You will forgive our sin, and You will heal our land.

1 Thes.5:14, "... encourage the faintheated..." Why would anyone be fainthearted?
Some would find themselves or a loved one in peril and could become fearful. Some would pray, or work long and hard without an answer and could get weary. Some would endure intense pain for a long time. Some would come under a spiritual attack, judgment, criticism, maybe even falsely accused and threatened with ruin. Some have listened to the lie.
Our job is not to add to their distress, but to strengthen their relationship to God who is good.

Heb 11:6 " He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him"
Father thank you for the good gifts you have for MSI both now and eternally because they set their face to seek you and your righteousness. Would you help them to put you first in their thoughts and minds thru out the day and find all they have need of in your presence. Bless them and protect them from enemies that would distract or consume their time and attention from your purposes and plans for them.
amen

The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy. The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. Psalm 145:8-9.
Dear Lord, What an amazing and awesome God You are. You are gracious, compassionate, patient, good and merciful. So often we are angry, fearful, and hateful. Our desire is to be more like You and less like us. Fill us with Your Spirit and let our lives reflect Your wonderful attributes and presence. Amen.

Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. Matthew 7:24-25
Lord, we look to You, our sure foundation, for strength and stabilty in the storms of life. Sometimes we feel battered about with difficulties and uncertanties. However, through it all, we rest secure in You. Let us always be doers of Your word and not just hearers. We rest in and on You. Amen.
